Mac Site Ends Run To Make Way For New Site
We have good news and bad news. In reverse order, Macintosh 4ever has announced they have closed their doors. At the same time, the creators of the site are also announcing a new site called The Mac Broadcasting Company or MacBC. According to Bob Allis from the Macintosh 4ever/MacBC team:

Today is the last day that Macintosh 4ever will exist on the web. There is a note to readers at: http://www.vallejonet.net/macintosh4ever/index.html.

The original aim of Macintosh4ever was to combat those who argued against the Mac as a viable platform choice, and while this battle is still ongoing, the Mac world does have the need for combative natured sites, like the current name implies.

Therefore, Macintosh 4ever has ended its run. And in its place will be the Macintosh Broadcasting Company, which will launch on Sunday, May 9. This site will maintain some of the content present at Macintosh 4ever, but will pursue a new direction.

A press release for MacBC.com will be released when the site launches.

For more information, please contact Bob at macintosh4ever@vallejonet.net.

We will pass on the press release as soon as MacBC is off the ground.

The Mac Observer Spin: Well good luck to Bob and the entire MacBC team! Sounds like they have a hot idea and a great name to launch their new site. It is certainly true that the days of needing a combative attitude are nearing an end and we think that the MacBC concept is a great way to go!
