Matador Design has released version 3.1 of WebEvent. The new version brings support for MacOS 8.x and MacOS X Server to the Internet calendar program as well as lots of new features. According to Matador:

WebEvent is an interactive World Wide Web calendar and scheduling application that allows you to view and modify calendar-type events from any computer that can run a web browser.

WebEvent 3.1 is the first official release of WebEvent which includes support for MacOS 8 and MacOS X Server. These are just some of the improvements that we have made since our initial WebEvent 3.0 release one and half years ago:

  • Added support for MacOS 8, MacOS X Server, and Windows NT
  • Added conflict resolution
  • Added new repeating event types
  • Added two-week view and year list view
  • Added ability to set site-wide font and calendar colors (now with RGB values)
  • Added ability for users to change their own passwords
  • Added IP-based security for the guest account
  • Added ability to set default body text for new events
  • Added more descriptive subjects and priority settings in email reminders
  • Added improved error handling of accounts and calendars
  • Added one-click access to "Jump to Day"
  • Added help and logout buttons on every page
  • Made easier-to-use online help pages
  • Added 24-hour time option
