The new version brings support and use for QuickTime 4. According to ARTIS: ARTIS Software announces the release of TextureMagic 1.2, an update of its seamless texture application for Mac OS. TextureMagic 1.2 now uses QuickTime 4 to save textures in BMP, JPEG, and TIFF file formats and load textures in BMP, GIF, JPEG, MacPaint, Photoshop, PNG, SGI, Targa, TIFF, and FlashPix file formats.
