Ah wasn't just me who noticed the conflict with advertising and Dashcoding websites.

"I liked the clever way of making widgets, not that I really like Dashboard all that much (perhaps they should tie it in with Spaces?) but, won't advertisers be rather peeved if you're using Dashcode to just take bits of websites you're interested in and circumventing all the adverts placed around?

Webcam capture looks good, bye bye Slothcam "

Subject: Automator plug-in actions

You guys need to play around with Automator some more. Just because all the Apple supplied folder actions are Applescripts does not mean that is all they can be. Open Automator, choose File > Save As Plug-In, then choose Plug-In For: Folder Actions. Pick the folder, and BOOM!

Well, okay, it turns out that folder actions do have to be Applescripts. However, what Automator does is to make a script that it attaches to the folder that tells it to open your automator workflow which is saved as an application in your user Library/Workflows/Applications/Folder Actions folder. Make your workflow where it assumes the files added to the folder are already passed into the workflow. In other words, don't make the first step "Get selected finder items" because that won't work.
