Of course, there would be no end to reviewing mics if you wanted to continue it. It's been good to hear the different choices, nonetheless. The room the guys are in makes a big difference, too. Jeff used to sound much more "echo-y" but he is much better now, and I assume he is closer to the mic.
BTW, I have the Marantz PMD660 as well as the Zoom H4. Glad that Ricky revisited the H4. I think the built in mics are fine for interviews. He failed to mention that the mics have several emulation settings, MD421, SM57, couple others. And you MUST use the foam windscreen.
I like the H4 over the Edirol because it has XLR inputs, full 48v phantom power and replaceable AA batteries. Lightweight, very portable, can work with built in mics or connect a better mic with a standard XLR cable, record to the SD card or connect it to your Mac and use it as an interface. Sweet little package, especially for the price.
