Apple reported another blockbuster quarter, Mac shipments hit a record high, and Steve Jobs seems to be allergic to device buttons. Also, Jeff and Bryan respond to listener comments in the Context Machine.

Out of curiosity, whatever happened to Ricky Spiro? He basically dropped out of the picture around WWDC, which I figured was due to the "on-site" coverage, but he's remained absent for the 6 or so weeks since.

Not that I disapprove of Bryan's contributions, of course...

I remember Jeff announcing that Ricky was being sent off to "summer camp" but no other explanation. The podcast sounded a whole lot better when he was on the audio-tech end of it. Now, there's a whole lot of background noise, and Bryan's voice sounds real muddy/garbled. When is Ricky coming back?
