AAPL Closes Over $186

Apple's stock continued to ride its fourth quarter earnings report wave to close on Tuesday at US$186.16 -- a new company high. The Mac and iPod maker's stock climbed 6.77 percent, or $11.80, from Monday's $174.36 closing price.

The company's market cap is currently $161.89 billion, above both IBM at $158.26 billion and Intel at $156.51 billion. In comparison, Dell closed on Tuesday at $28.79 with a $64.37 billion market cap.

Apple is currently trading in the pre-market at $184.16, down 1.89 (1.02%).
