AAPL Reverses Loss Ahead of Earnings, Closes $1.14 Higher

Shares in Apple Inc. closed higher Monday just before the company was set to release its fiscal third quarter financial results, reverses losses earlier in the day. AAPL closed at US$166.29 per share, a gain of $1.14 (+.69%) on the day.
The stock had traded as low as $161.12 just before noon, Eastern, but managed to show a gain in the last hour of trading.
The stock is trading lower in the after hours market. The Mac Observer will be offering extensive coverage of the company's results and analyst conference call, which takes place at 4:00 PM EDT, Monday.
