Interent Explorer fans, itis time to move on: Microsoftis Web site lists December 31, 2005 as the last day of support for the Mac version of Internet Explorer (IE). Additionally, on January 31, 2006, Internet Explorer will no longer be available for download. Microsoft officially stopped developing IE for the Mac in June of 2003.
From Microsoftis Mactopia Web site: "It is recommended that Macintosh users migrate to more recent web browsing technologies such as Appleis Safari."
Safari is Appleis free web browser that comes bundled with all new Macs, as well as Mac OS X 10.3 and 10.4. Alternative browsers are also available, including Firefox, OmniWeb, Opera, and Camino. A more extensive list of browsers is available at the Versiontracker Web site.
