The update for the OS X password and private data manager improves Autosave in Safari so it no longer obscures page content, and adds the ability to replace logins during Autosave in Safari and Firefox. The update supports editing and deleting the Submit settings for individual logins without opening the application, improved autofill for logins, identities and credit cards, added support for Firefox 10 nightly builds, and more.

The 1Password 3.8.6 extension update is available as a free update from within the app, or through Safari 5’s plug-in manager.

1Password for the Mac is priced at US$49.99 and is available for download at the AgileBits Web site or the Mac App Store.
