Along with Retina Display graphics for the Mac, the 3.9.6 update also added support for the Chrome Web Store version of the 1Password extension.

Currently, the recently introduced MacBook Pro with Retina Display is the only Mac Apple sells with the high resolution display, but that will likely change as the company updates the other laptops in its product lineup.

1Password for the Mac can also sync with 1Password for the iPhone and iPad so users can keep their password database with them on the go, too.

1Password is priced at US$49.99 and is available at Apple’s Mac App Store and the AgileBits website.
