· by Mike Washlesky · News

Pixels Digital has released an update for PiXELS 3D, bringing it to version version 4.5. PiXELS 3D is a 3D animation app designed for use by professional animators. The latest update ships with new features including LogoMaker for custom logo creation and a new Inverse Kinematics. According to Pixels:

Pixels Digital, manufacturers of PiXELS 3D announces the release of version 4.5 for OSX.

The new version packs substantial new features such as; LogoMaker, Global Illumination and a newly engineered Inverse Kinematics system just to name a few. A version for OS9 is also nearing completion.

The new features in 4.5 are so well conceived and implemented that they further set PiXELS 3D apart from the tedious learning curves associated with many programs. 4.5is breakthroughis make difficult tasks such as rigging a character with a complete ik system or using Global Illumination elegantly simple without limiting the flexibility or diminishing the professional results.

Among the new features in 4.5:

  • LogoMaker
  • RigMaker
  • Global Illumination
  • Area Lights

You can find more information about the PiXELS 3D update at the Pixels, Inc. Web site. PiXELS 3D 4.5 is free for registered users, while the full version is available for US$399.00.
