4D Launches eBay Selling Tool MarketBlast

June 23rd, 2005 at 3:00 PM - News by Brad Cook

4D Inc. on Friday released MarketBlast, a US$99 application that helps users create and manage their eBay auctions. The software is built on 4Dis database solution, but it does not require any additional monthly service fees. MarketBlast enables users to bulk-list items, manage their inventory, invoice auction winners and send follow-up e-mails, automate repetitive tasks and more. It integrates with the Yahoo! image hosting service Flickr for photo hosting and cuts down on other eBay fees by automatically relisting unsold items and scheduling upcoming auctions.

MarketBlast includes more than 100 professionally designed templates, an HTML editor with built-in spellchecking, a picture watermarking function and customer relationship management and sales analysis tools. A demo that restricts eBay connectivity to listing auctions is available for download. Separate versions are available for Mac OS X v10.3 "Panther" and v10.4 "Tiger" users.
