4D, Inc. has released the source code for 4D WebMail to the public. 4D Web Mail is an email client used for cross-platform email sending/recieving. The souce code release allows developers the ability to imbed the program in 4D applications. According to 4D:

4D WebMail is a robust, Web-based mail handling application that functions as a client with mail servers and as a server to any browser. End-users can install fully compiled 4D WebMail for an immediate, powerful web-based mail handling application. 4D developers can integrate the 4D WebMail source code directly into applications as is, or easily customize the application and develop additional functionality.
