Econ Technologies has released an update for Portraits & Prints, bringing it to version 1.0.1. Also released from Econ is a Portraits & Prints Template Maker. Portraits & Prints is an app designed to fully utilize OS X and color printers for the production of digital photos, and Template Maker is the companion layout designer. The new version of P&P has improved performance and bug fixes. According to Econ Technologies;
The second maintenance release for Portraits & Prints™, the personal photo studio for Mac® OS X, is now available. This version adds enhancements to better support the features offered in Portraits & Prints Template Maker™ as well as fixing a few bugs.
The 1.0.2 update includes the following features and fixes:
- Support for extended text object attributes such as color, opacity and typestyle
- Support for user editable text on templates that offer this feature
- More accurate on-screen, scaled display of template objects
- Complete rendering of template thumbnails in the template selector sheet
- Empty photo cells are now drawn with a gray fill
- Fixed a bug that sometimes resulted in distorted thumbnails in the catalog drawer
- License information is now stored in the useris domain, eliminating the need to reregister the program after each update
- Fixed the "big black blob" bug in some printouts
- Improved on-line help system.
