Adaptec Updates OS X Drivers

Adaptec has updated their OS X drivers for their line of SCSI, FireWire, and USB cards. Adaptec originally released beta drivers at MACWORLD San Francisco, and this latest update offers improved compatibility and performance with OS X 10.0. According to Adaptec:

Adaptec inc., the global leader in data storage access solutions is a long time supporter of the Macintosh platform.In January at MacWorld, Adaptec announced the availability of Beta Ultra 160 drivers to support Appleis Macintosh OS X Public Beta. Now Adaptec is pleased to announce the availability of drivers to support the final release of OS X.

The following drivers have been posted:

  • PowerDomain 29160
  • PowerDomain 29160N
  • PowerDomain 39160
  • PowerDomain 2930U
  • PowerDomain 2906

Adaptec expects to release final drivers over the summer. Please refer to the above web site for more details about support for your product.
