Adobe announced the immediate availability of the Adobe Creative Suite 2.3 Premium on Thursday. The updated version of Adobeis design application bundle now includes Dreamweaver 8 and Adobe Acrobat Professional 8.
The Creative Suite also includes Adobe InDesign CS2, Photoshop CS2, Illustrator CS2, Adobe Bridge, Version Cue CS2, Adobe Stock Photos, and GoLive CS2.
Adobe CS2.3 users can take advantage of Acrobat Professional 8is group collaboration and online meeting features in Acrobat Connect (formerly Breeze), as well as PDF preflight and repair tools, and enhanced JDF workflow options. Acrobat 8 is also a Universal Binary application, which means it runs natively on PowerPC and Intel-based Macs.
The suite also offers improved component support between applications, including the ability to synchronize color settings, support for transparency flattener presets, and a shared print technology.
Adobe Creative Suite 2.3 Premium is priced at US$1,199. Upgrades from Adobe Creative Premium 2 are priced at $159, and upgrades from Creative Suite 1 Premium and Standard cost $549.
Adobe Creative Suite Standard, which does not include GoLive CS2, Dreamweaver 8, or Adobe Acrobat 8, is priced at $899. Upgrades start at $349.
