Adobe Introduces Photoshop CS3 Extended

Along with the Adobe Creative Suite 3 introduction, Adobe also revealed details about Photoshop CS3 Extended on Tuesday. The specialized version of Photoshop includes features geared towards image analysis, 3D, and motion support for video and animation along with all of the features in Photoshop CS3.

Photoshop CS3 Extended adds a measurement log palette, calculates value ranges in images, a scale marker, and supports multiple 3D model file formats, texture editing for 3D models, an enhanced vanishing point feature that measures in perspective on 3D models. The video post production tools include layer support in frame-by-frame video editing, exporting to several video formats and Flash.

Photoshop CS3 Extended will be available in April, and will cost US$999.
