Adobe Launches Web-based Photoshop Express Beta

Adobe unveiled a beta version of Photoshop Express, a Web-based version of its image editing application, on Thursday. The Web app lets users store, sort and show their digital images, and links to social networking sites like Facebook.

Photoshop Express offers users 2GB of online storage, and supports nondestructive editing, converting images to black and white, red-eye removal, image cropping, and blemish removal. It also includes special effects like Sketch, Distort, Pop Color which highlights part of an image by removing the color from the rest of the image, and more.

Photoshop Express is free, and new users can sign up at the Photoshop Web site.
