Adobe Lightroom 1.2 Improves Raw Camera Support

Adobe announced the immediate availability of Lightroom 1.2 on Friday. The updated version of the professional image management and editing application added Raw support for additional camera models.

The new version of Lightroom added support for 14 additional cameras and backs including the Canon EOS 40D, Fuji FinePix IS-1, Leaf Aptus 17, 54s and 75s, Olympus EVOLT E-510, Panasonic DMC-FZ18, Pentax K100D Super, Phase One P 20+, P 21+, P 25+, P 30+ and P 45+, and the Sony A700. It also improved noise reduction for Bayer patterned sensors.

Adobe Lightroom 1.2 is priced at US$299. The update is available for download at the Adobe Web site, and is free for version 1 users.
