· by · News

Adobe released an updated specification for its open Adobe Digital Negative image archive format on Tuesday. The update addressed several industry requirements including the formalization of the concept of camera profiles.

The updated specification also allows for multiple camera profiles to be embedded in a single DNG file, added new metadata tags to the format, and includes an updated DNG SDK.

Adobe DNG Converter is available as a free download at the Adobe Web site.
