AirPort Extreme 2008-002 Fixes Tiger Audio Issues

· by · News

Apple released AirPort Extreme Update 2008-002 for Mac OS X 10.4.11 users late on Thursday. The update improves AirPort connections and compatibility with audio applications like GarageBand, Logic and MainStage.

The AirPort Extreme Update 2008-001 became a problem for some Tiger users when they began experiencing stuttering audio problems when using audio applications while connected to wireless networks.

AirPort Extreme Update 2008-002 requires an Intel-based Mac running Mac OS X 10.4.11. It is free and available via the Software Update application, or as a download at the Apple Support Web site.
