· by Mike Washlesky · News

Aladdin Systems, Inc. has released a new version of iClean for Macintosh, bringing it to version 5.0. iClean is an Internet utility designed for cleaning accumulated download and surfing clutter. The latest version features cookie flagging and desktop access for OS X users. According to Aladdin Systems:

Aladdin Systems, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Aladdin Systems Holdings, Inc. (OTC BB: ALHI), today shipped iClean(tm) 5.0 for Macintosh, making it even easier to achieve a sense of security using the Internet. iClean helps quickly remove Internet build-up and clutter that is accumulated from surfing and downloading files.

Version 5.0 provides expanded cookie editing. To avoid repetitive cleaning tasks, users can now flag cookies from specified servers for automatic deletion every time iClean is launched. To help users decide what to remove, iClean reports back with a summary of items and the amount of disk space that can be reclaimed.

You can find more information about the iClean update at the Aladdin Systems Web site. iClean 5.0 is available for US$14.99 for previous registered users, while the full version is available for US$29.99.
