Alexander Wilson Updates AudioBookMaker With A Preview Function

Alexander Wilson has released an update for AudioBookMaker, bringing it to version 1.5. AudioBookMaker is a utility designed for converting text into speech via Jaguar. The update features a preview function and other minor enhancements. According to Alexander Wilson:

Alexander Wilson Studios today releases AudioBookMaker 1.5, an update to the Jaguar-exclusive utility that converts text files to audio files using Jaguaris built-in text-to-speech abilities. The resulting audio files may be then dragged into iTunes, used for multimedia projects, converted to MP3, or even carried with users on their iPods.

This update is recommended for all users of AudioBookMaker. Version 1.5 boasts a preview function, a large-file warning message, and other stability improvements.

AudioBookMaker 1.5 requires Macintosh OS X 10.2 Jaguar (with 10.2.2 or later recommended). Users may choose from the operating systemis 22 voices, and may initialize the conversion by either dragging and dropping text files or by cutting and pasting the text itself. Users may also type text directly into the program.
