Another Apple Exec Files To Sell 125,000 Shares Of AAPL

D ow Jones is reporting that Nancy Heinen, Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Apple, has filed to sell 125,000 shares of Apple stock. Ms. Heinen is a veteran of CEO Steve Jobsi NeXT team, having overseen that companyis IPO and later acquisition by Apple.

According to the Dow Jones report, Ms. Heinen filed April 30th as the date to sell the stock. Executives of publicly held companies are required by the SEC to formally file their stock transactions involving stock from the company for whom they work. From the Dow Jones report:

Apple Computer Inc. Senior Vice President Nancy Heinen filed to sell 125,000 shares of the companyis common stock, according to a Form 144 released Thursday by the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Heinen listed April 30 as the approximate sale date for the shares, which she valued at $3 million.

The filing listed E*trade Securities as the broker for the sales.

This marks the second incident of insider selling in the last two weeks. CFO Fred Anderson filed to sell 100,000 shares on April 23rd. The most recent insider selling before that goes back to October of 2001 when Board member Gareth Chang sold some 60,000 shares.
