Apago Updates PDF Enhancer With Better File Sizing

· by Brad Gibson · News

Apago, Inc. of Alpharetta, Georgia announced Wednesday the release of PDF optimizer PDF Enhancer 2.6, which reduces the size of PDFs for print, Web and archiving.

Version 2.6 can now embed fonts, apply Bates or Page numbering to PDF or set of PDF documents and has improved color support. New optimization techniques have been incorporated for better file size reduction without quality sacrifices.

The standard edition at US$180 supports all basic enhancement, security, and size reduction capabilities, while the professional version at $350 adds document merging, page and Bates numbering, support for ICC color conversion, page layout and up to 3 hot folders for automation.
