Apimac Releases Address Book Version 5.0

· by Mike Washlesky · News

Apimac has released a new full version of Apimac Address Book, bringing it to version 5.0. Apimac Address Book is a telephone and address utility designed for Internet applications. The latest release features several new enhancements including code optimizations and an improved interface. According to Apimac:

Apimac is pleased to announce Apimac Address Book 5.0, its telephone and address application, fully integrated with Internet and Mac OS X. In public beta since January and after a comprehensive customer feedback, Apimac Address Book 5.0 is now available for download.

Apimac Address Book 5.0 is a significant revision of the application that involved a complete rewrite of the code. In addition to Mac Classic, Apimac Address Book now provides support for Mac OS X, and it is fully integrated with Mac OS X 10.2 (Jaguar), keeping contacts data synchronized with Mac OS X Address Book database (though using its own Valentina database).

It sports a revamped interface where the main window is divided in four sections accessible by tab panes, which provides a convenient and easy access to contacts data. The print feature has been greatly enhanced with four standard styles, which will print a phone book, a comprehensive contacts information, addresses on envelopes, and contacts information on adhesive labels.
