Apimac Releases Maintenance Updated For Address Book

· by Mike Washlesky · News

Apimac has released an update for Apimac Address Book, bringing it to version 5.9. Apimac Address Book is a telephone and address utility designed for Internet applications. The update features bug fixes and provides the Classic version as freeware. According to Apimac:

Apimac is pleased to announce Apimac Address Book 5.9, the latest release of its telephone and address application, fully integrated with Internet and Mac OS X.

As a direct result of user feedback, the Mac OS X version delivers a new shareware scheme, where all the limitations to unregistered copies were removed, except a shareware reminder mini-window. The Mac Classic version goes further as it has not limitations at all, and can be freely downloaded and used without registration.

On the maintenance part, the Mac OS X version fixes all the known issues in the sync and the export features, while the blinking screen bug is fixed on the Mac Classic version, amongst other minor issues.

You can find more information about the Apimac Address Book update at the Web site. The update is free for current users, while the full version is available for US$19.99. The Classic version is now available as freeware.
