Automated Workflows has announced an AppleScript seminar at the upcoming MacWorld convention. Hosted by Benjamin S. Waldie, the seminar will cover topics for ustilizing AppleScripts for increased productivity and automated task creation. According to Automated Workflows:

An "AppleScript for the Creative Professional" session will be held at MacWorld Expo in San Francisco.

This session will feature Benjamin S. Waldie, President of Automated Workflows, LLC, and will be opened to all registered Users Conference attendees.

Every day, creative professionals spend countless hours performing repetitive tasks such as renaming files and folders, converting and modifying images, laying out pages, and more. These tasks can quickly become time consuming, and take valuable time away from the creative side of the job.

During this session, creative professionals will learn the importance of AppleScript automation, what types of production tasks may be automated using AppleScript, and steps to implement AppleScript automation in a workflow. In addition, attendees will see several demonstrations of how AppleScript can automate real-world daily tasks in a production environment.

You can find more information about the AppleScripting seminars at the MacWorld Web site. The session will be held at MacWorld Expo in San Francisco on Thursday, January 8th, 2004 from 3:30 - 4:30 PM.
