Apple Adds Customer Ratings to iPod Store

· by Misha Sakellaropoulo · News

Apple has added the ability for customers to rate products at its online iPod Store, a division of the Apple Store the company launched last month. A page discussing the customer rating has also been posted.

In order to post a review, customers must sign in with their Apple ID and submit their review and rating. "Within five days, Apple will take a closer look at your review. If it follows the terms and conditions described below, we?ll decide whether to publish it."

Of amusing note, all Apple-branded products are automatically given a 5-Apple rating that cannot be changed. In explaining why this is the case, Apple fires back, "Would you trust us to display less than perfect ratings on our own products? We didnit think so!"
