Apple Drops Refurbished 5 GB iPod To US$299

As noted by our DealsOnTheWeb.com site, Apple has dropped the price of refurbished 5 GB iPods at the Apple Store to US$299. Previously the price on a 5 GB refurb iPod from Apple was US$339, and the current retail price on a new unit is US$399.

Apple offers refurbished Macs and other Apple products through the online Apple Store, with current offerings running the gamut of Appleis product line. You can find the page for these offers hidden in the lower left hand corner of the main Apple Store page with a link that says "Special Deals."
