Ernest Prabhakar, Appleis Open Source Product manager, announced on Monday that the company is expanding its open source support. Developers now have access to Mac OS X 10.4.7 buildable kernel sources for PowerPC and Intel Macs, an open source version of the iCal Server in Leopard Server, Apache-licensed Bonjour and Launchd source, and Mac OS Forge - an open source community and project support Web site.
The open source code for the Mac OS X kernel is available at Appleis Developer Web site. The iCal Server, Bonjour, and Launchd source code is all available at the Mac OS Forge Web site.
