Apple Hires Nike Ad Director

Apple Inc. has hired away Rebecca Van Dyck from the ad agency Wieden + Kennedy to be the companyis new worldwide advertising director. During her 12 years at Wieden + Kennedy, she was assigned exclusively to the Nike brand, according to Adweek.

For the past four years, Ms. Van Dyck has been in charge of the global advertising campaign for Nike.

Wieden + Kennedy has a long list of high profile clients in addition to Nike, including Coca-Cola, Google, Starbucks, ABC Family Channel, and ESPN.

Representatives from Apple were unavailable for comment, but sources claim that Ms. Van Dyck has already started her new job.
