Apple In Store for Strong Mac Holiday Sales

Appleis iPod may be the focus for many people, but RBC analyst Mike Abramsky thinks investors should keep their eyes on the Macintosh, too. The recent release of Mac OS X 10.5 and new iMacs, along with iPhone popularity is pushing many Windows users to jump ship and move to the Apple camp, according to Forbes.

Blending those factors together sets Apple up for what Mr. Abramsky called a "massive holiday" season for the Mac that could see a 47 percent year-over-year increase in sales.

Mr. Abramsky is maintaining his "Outperform" rating for Appleis stock, but is raising his target price from US$205 to $215. Apple is currently trading at $187.8199, up 2.3199 (1.25%).
