Apple Matters to Give Away Mac mini, miniStack to a Forum Participant

Apple Matters has announced that it is christening its recently opened forums by giving away a Mac mini and a 250GB miniStack external hard drive to one randomly selected participant. Through Oct. 31, each forum member will receive an entry in the contest for each post they make, assuming itis not spam or a post for the sake of improving their odds.

The Mac mini is a 1.25GHz model with 512MB RAM and a 40GB hard drive. The 250GB miniStack, which powers up and down with the computer, features a pair of FireWire 400 ports and four USB 2.0 ports; it was provided by Other World Computing.

Five runners-up get signed copies of Hadley Sternis iPod and iTunes Hacks book. Mr. Stern is a Boston-based designer, writer and photographer who founded Apple Matters and is the Web siteis editor-in-chief.
