Apple Notes Conflict Between Aperture and Time Machine

Apple has noted a conflict between Aperture and Time Machine and has suggested excluding the Aperture library from automatic backups.

In support article # 306853, Apple said that "running Time Machine backup or restore operations while Aperture is running may lead to inconsistencies in the Aperture database."

A procedure is described that eliminates Aperture from Time Machine backups and notes that users should manually backup their Aperture library.
