Apple Offers Apple Camp For Kids Of Families That Purchase New Macs

Parents who buy a new Mac at an Apple Store between June 15th and August 10th will be invited to a free set of workshops at the Apple Store called Apple Camp. Children will learn how to use their new Mac to improve learning, study, and research skills, and try out new applications and techniques. From Apple:

Getting a Mac for your children is a great start. But donit stop there. Sign them up for Apple Camp this summer. Conducted at your local Apple Store, these fun, hands-on workshops enhance the learning, study, and research skills of students in grades 1 through 9.

Apple Camp is offered free of charge to families who purchase a new computer at the Apple Store between June 15 and August 10, 2003. Workshops are for one week and are offered at both beginning and advanced levels. You?re invited to take part in the fun, too. Join your child as you try out new applications, techniques, and shortcuts together. Apple Camp is available on a first to sign up basis, so enroll now while space is still available.

Week of August 11 and week of August 18.

Beginner-both weeks: Mon, Wed and Fri, 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Advanced-both weeks: Tue and Thu, 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
