Apple Offers US$300 Rebate On Education Bundle

May 29th, 2003 at 3:00 PM - News by Bryan Chaffin

Apple has introduced a very aggressive bundle to education customers. The offer is called "Buy a bundle. And get a bundle back." and basically offers one of the best rebate offers we have ever seen Apple give. If you buy a qualifying portable Mac and an iPod, you can get a US$200 rebate. If you add one of four printers to the deal, you can get an additional US$100 back. These rebates are specifically on top of Appleis education pricing discounts.

The Terms and Conditions on the offer say that qualifying portables include:

Any Apple PowerBook or iBook portable computer [EXCEPT; M8758LL/A (iBook 800Mhz/CD), and Z06U (iBook CD Configure-to-order)] any Apple iPod., and Canon i450, i850, i950, and i70 color printer (Canon printer must be purchased by June 28, 2003)

With those qualifying products, iBooks start at US$1249, PowerBooks start at US$1699, and iPods start at US$269.

The deal as promoted on the Apple Store:

You can find the deal by heading to the Apple Store for Education Hot Deals page, and clicking on the "Buy a bundle. And get a bundle back." Hot Deal listed there. That link takes you to a page where you find your Apple Store for Education eligible school, which then takes you to the correct Apple Store for Education page, with the rebate offer front and center.
