Apple Posts AirPort Base Station Update 2007-002 [UPDATED]

Apple released the AirPort Base Station Update 2007-002 for Mac and Windows on Monday.

The AirPort Base Station Update 2007-002 includes general fixes and compatibility updates, according to Apple, for the following applications:

  • AirPort Utility
  • AirPort Disk Utility
  • AirPort Base Station Agent

Appleis support page noted that "AirPort Utility v5.2.1 for Mac OS X 10.4.x or later software supports the AirPort Extreme Base Station with 802.11n, AirPort Extreme Base Station and AirPort Express Base Station."

The same update was published for Windows.


[UPDATE: Users with the older AirPort Extreme/Express 802.11b/g series may be using AirPort Admin Utility 4.x and will not need the update.]
