Apple Posts Full WWDC Schedule -- With Evening Events

On Friday, Apple posted the full schedule for its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) to be held in San Francisco June 9-13. For the second year in a row, the evening bus trip to Appleis campus beer bash is no longer on the schedule.

The Conference Schedule has tabs for the morning and afternoon sessions, color coded by track: iPhone, Mac, iPhone/Mac and IT. The Lab sessions are on a separate tab,

Monday evening features a WWDC welcome reception, likely to be held at Moscone West, 2nd level. Tuesday evening is open. Wednesday features the Apple Design Awards, Stump the Experts, and the Scientific Development Poster Session.

The WWDC Bash at the Yerba Buena Gardens will be on Thursday night. There are no events scheduled for Friday evening, typically travel time for many attendees.

For the second year in a row, Apple is passing on the bus trip from San Francisco to Cupertino and the beer bash inside the Apple quadrangle. Last year was the first time since Apple moved WWDC from San Jose to San Francisco that the bus trip wasnit scheduled. That trip gave WWDC attendees a chance to visit the Apple campus, including the Company Store, and listen to a live band inside the quadrangle. However, it could well be that Apple found it to be more and more expensive and difficult logistically to bus 5,000 people from San Francisco to Cupertino, and that beloved event looks like a thing of the past now.

WWDC sold out for the first time ever on May 14th. Apple has said that session videos will be available for purchase, via iTunes, shortly after the conference.
