Apple Posts QuickTime 7.5.5 September 8th, 2008 at 3:00 PM - News by John Martellaro Apple posted an update for QuickTime, version 7.5.5, on Tuesday for both Intel and PowerPC Macs (67 MB). In its typical, stunningly terse, notes, Apple said: "QuickTime 7.5.5 includes changes that increase reliability, improve application compatibility and enhance security. "This release is recommended for all QuickTime 7 users." As of this writing, the Apple Downloads site and the Security Update notes sites had not yet been updated.
