A pple released a preview release of QuickTime 6 earlier this week in order to show the world the next generation of Appleis multimedia platform. Apple intends to ship QuickTime 6 with Jaguar, the next major revision of Mac OS X. The preview release of QuickTime 6 has resulted in problems and complaints from some users, and Apple has responded with a QuickTime 5 Reinstaller. Apple simply says:
This program removes QuickTime 6 Public Preview and restores the version of QuickTime provided in Mac OS X 10.1.3 or greater.
