Apple Releases Security Update, Addresses Safari Cookie Issue

Apple has released Security Update 2003-12-05, which updates Appleis Safari web browser to address a vulnerability that could allow unauthorized access to cookies on the affected system. The brief note from Apple:

Security Update 2003-12-05 updates Safari to prevent unauthorized access to a useris cookies.

The update is available for users of both OS X 10.2 (weighing in at 1.3MB) and OS X 10.3 (at 2.6MB) from Appleis Featured Software page, or through Software Update.
