Apple Retail Stores Headed For Taiwan

· by Misha Sakellaropoulo · News

Apple will reportedly open three retail locations, including a flagship store, in Taipei, Taiwan, according to the Taiwan Daily News (as noted by Macworld UK). In addition, the company will also start selling silver iPod minis through 7-11 locations located across the island. Thereis no word on when the stores will open or the 7-11 agreement will be put into practice, however.

The same article also notes that Dell plans to open its first Kiosk center in downtown Taipei, with Dellis Taiwan president saying that the Kiosk should help to upgrade Dellis rank in notebook PC sales to No. 5 in Taiwan, or even No. 1.
