Apple Revamps Presence in Russia

Apple Computeris business representative in the Russian Federation, Apple IMC Russia, is working on reorganizing its business to better handle product demand in the region. iPro has already been spun off as a separate company to handle professional solutions, according to OSP International.

Over time, other departments will get split out into different companies, including the retail department, the CIS customer service department, and the education projects department. A retail chain managing company has also been developed.

Evgeni Butman, Apple IMCis general director, commented "The company reorganization aims at extending our business and boosting management efficiency. We have registered impressive growth over the recent years and we are determined to grow further."

Apple IMC Russia manages Appleis business dealings in Russia, and works with resellers to market the Macintosh computer product line, iPods, and Apple software.
