Apple Rolls Out Pro App Updates

Apple released several updates for its pro applications on Wednesday, including Aperture Final Cut Studio, Cinema Tools, DVD Studio Pro X, and Compressor.

Aperture 1.1.2 addresses reliability and performance issues.

Apple Pro Application Support 2006-01 fixes issues with the underlying framework and shared components for Final Cut Studio, Final Cut Pro 5.1, Motion 2.1, Soundtrack Pro 1.1, DVD Studio Pro 4.1, Shake 4.1, LiveType 2.1, Compressor 2.1, Apple Qmaster 2.1, and Final Cut Express HD 3.5.

Final Cut Studio 5.1.1 fixes several critical bugs and optimizes compatibility for specific hardware.

Cinema Tools 3.1.1 fixes a problem with reverse telecine when using some DVCPro formats.

The DVD Studio Pro X 4.1, Soundtrack Pro 1.1, and Compressor 2.1 updates donit include any information about what they address. They do, however, require Mac OS X 10.4.6 and QuickTime 7.

Each update should be available via the Apple Software Update application.
