Apple Security Update Improves Network Security, More

Apple Computer released Security Update 2006-007 for Mac OS X 10.3.9 and higher on Tuesday evening. The update improves security for wireless network connections, protects against maliciously crafted FTP commands, fixes vulnerabilities in OpenSSL, perl and PHP, corrects several local user security issues relating to Apple Type Services and the Finder, and more.

The security update is free and available through Software Update. Additional information about Security Update 2006-007 is available at the Apple Web site.
