Apple Site Sees Steady Traffic Through The Holiday Season

The final holiday rush saw high traffic to all of the major computer makeris web sites, according to the PC Data Top 10 rankings. Dell led the way with nearly 1.5 million visitors, but Compaq, HP, Gateway, and Apple also topped the 1 million mark for site visitors last week. The two major online resellers, Outpost and Egghead, not surprisingly saw high traffic with over .5 million visitors each. IBM and Intel were holdovers from last week, and rounding out the Top 10 this week was newcomer Palm. Palm devices were a hot holiday item, so Palmis entry in the Top 10 is not surprising.
