Apple released firmware update 1.0.1 for the Intel Core-based iMac, Mac mini, and MacBook Pro on Wednesday. So far, there is no information about exactly what the firmware update does, but TMO went ahead and installed it on a MacBook Pro that already had firmware update 1.0 in place. The firmware installed without any problem, and System Profiler showed the Boot ROM version number changed from MBP11.0055.B02 to MBP11.0055.B03.
Although the firmware update isnit available yet through the Software Update application,it is available on Appleis Web site. There are individual downloads for the iMac, Mac mini, and MacBook Pro.
