Northern Light has published a report saying that Apple Mexico has seen 25% growth during fiscal 2002. The article also says that the company expects to grow another 30% during the current fiscal year. From the article:

The director of Apple Computer México, Nicolás Figueras, said that to reach that objective the company would open a new distribution channel with wholesale company Mexmal in the next few weeks. Figueras said that Mexmal was chosen because it is a wholesale company focused on few brands, as well as having great presence in the provinces and Appleis shareholders having always been interested in the firm. Mexmal president Alfredo Flores said provinces could not easily obtain certain products so it is necessary to open new distribution channels. He also said that there were states in which the demand for Apple products is very high and that demand has to be satiated, said Flores.
